Real Estate is kind of "in my blood". I grew up in the small town of Harrison, where my Step-dad was a Real Estate Broker; Mom was a licensed salesperson and worked with him. I would "watch the phones" on the weekends and couldn't wait until I could get my license, which I did at age 18.
I love selling real estate. I worked in the family business for a few years, then turned to property management. While raising a family I stayed in the housing industry working in building material sales. I learned about and sold the items that make up houses; plumbing, heating, electrical, lighting, and even appliances. The knowledge and experiences I gained have been invaluable to me as a Realtor.
I longed to go back into real estate sales, so a few years ago I dusted off my license, took a few classes to catch up on the latest laws and returned to my "first love". Helping people with the purchase or sale of their home.
I have found that a lot of things have changed. We now have the Multi List Service (MLS) and electronic lock boxes, electronic signatures, and the internet..but some things haven't changed.
Things like how a person wants to be treated.
Call me old-fashioned but I think that it is the right thing to treat others as I want to be treated. I think people like to deal with an agent who returns phone calls or emails in a reasonable amount of time. Someone who takes the time to explain the processes and how things work. Someone who cares enough about their client or customer to be truthful and honest.
I am that agent, and I serve Saginaw, Bay and Midland counties. I am a member of the Saginaw Board of Realtors, as well as the Midland, and Bay City Boards. I have access to listings thoughout the entire state of Michigan and if I'm not able to personally help you with buying or selling, I have a network of agents that I can recommend and refer.
Thank you for taking time to get to know me. I look forward to you contacting me so I can get to know you!
